Char Alfonzo is a New York-based Multimedia Artist that has explored his creativity through the mediums of print design, fabric print design, filmmaking and fashion photography. Born and raised in Venezuela, Char Alfonzo has been immersed in European and Latinamerican culture from an early age. With a childhood surrounded by Catholic mysticism, Alfonzo draws inspiration from his experiences with the sacred (he considered priesthood at a point in his life), as well as his interests in Afro-carribean religions, shamanism, anthropology, and ritual practice.

After relocating to New York in 2005 and obtaining a BFA in Communication Design from Parsons the New School for Design, Char Alfonzo has worked on several projects in film, art, design and fashion. He currently lives in Manhattan, New York City.
